Butterfly African Migrant, Catopsilia florella, photographed early in February on the Mahonie Loop near Punda. These butterflies are South Africa’s most familiar migrating butterfly after the Brown-veined White. They are found year-round throughout South Africa. Migrations occur in summer and autumn, but most commonly in February and March. But the butterfly that I saw is not only those that you see at the pictures or images above, because I ever seen the monarch butterfly too that got migrant in Africa.
